Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton, VA was conducting major renovations to modernize their existing facility. Due to an existing relationship they invited Riddleberger Brothers, a Comfort Systems USA Company to bid on the project, and ultimately selected them as their mechanical and plumbing partner. Millions of dollars have been spent to transform Fauquier Hospital into a beautiful, soothing, healing environment. Artwork graces the walls and soft music fills the hallways. The Riddleberger Brothers' team performed three separate additions/renovations to the hospital. On their 16,000 sq. ft. Family Birthing Center, Riddelberger Brothers secured a contract for $999,950 and added/renovated a central chiller plant and hot water distribution, terminal devices, air handlers and direct digital controls. On their 2,000 sq. ft. Power Plant Expansion, Riddleberger Brothers performed identical work to that of the birthing center for a contract amount of $689,764. Lastly, for Fauquier Hospital's major expansion of the main hospital itself, Riddleberger Brother's renovated the mechanical and plumbing for the 84,000 sq. ft. of the existing facility as well as the 137,000 sq. ft. addition, all for a contract amount of $6,940, 125. For both portions, they added a hot water distribution system, terminal devices, air handlers and controls. Riddleberger Brothers also installed a specialized plumbing system that included laboratory wastes and utilities.
